Philip S. Chang is an academic, advisor, and advocate
For the past four years, his work has focused on growing high-tech ecosystems and new economies.
At the Yen Tjing Ling Industrial Research Institute, Philip develops perspectives on infrastructure and systems that operate smart facilities, including manufacturing process, automation, supply chain, and environmental management. His present focus is COVID-19’s impact on business continuity in high-tech manufacturing.
Philip previously co-founded an electric vehicle share charging startup. Earlier, he worked in transaction advisory, conducting risk management and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations. He also had a full career in strategic communications, notably, crisis management.
He continues to consult on these topics, advises startups, to enable a more sustainable, international future for Taiwan.
